Sebuah Inovasi yang Kebablasan:
Ketika Kemajuan Berujung Kekacauan
MARCH 7, 2025
Yuk, kita bahas beberapa!
Sampah makin menumpuk. Lalu bagaimana cara singkat orang-orang mengatasinya?
Kalau lupa?

Bobo, Sloth Tercepat Di Dunia
FEBRUARY 27, 2025
Bobo? Santai saja.
"Kenapa harus terburu-buru?" pikirnya.
Hari itu, Perlombaan Tahunan "Lari Kilat" sedang berlangsung. Semua hewan ikut serta..... kecuali Bobo yang tidak peduli sama sekali.
Namun saat ia hendak menggigit pisang lezat yang baru saja ia temukan di atas pohon.....
"MULAI!"
Sialnya, cabang pohon tempatnya bertengger patah!
Bobo jatuh, terguling-guling menuruni bukit, melewati garis finis seperti bola salju liar. Semua hewan bersorak.
Bobo menang!
Bobo? Bingung.
"Eh, aku di mana? Kenapa ada yang kasih aku medali?"
Dalam semalam, Bobo menjadi selebriti.
Ia diundang ke acara bincang-bincang terkenal Hewan Heboh, yang dipandu oleh Burhan si burung hantu.
"Bobo, semua hewan ingin tahu..... apa rahasia kecepatanmu?"
Bobo menatap Burhan..... berkedip..... menghela napas..... lalu setelah satu menit penuh, akhirnya berkata:
"Aku suka..... tidur."
Penonton?
"Ayo, Bobo! Sprint!" teriak Cici.
Bobo? Baru mulai mengangkat kaki..... sepuluh menit kemudian.
Cici frustrasi total, tapi anehnya….. setiap kali Bobo mencoba menghindari latihan, dia selalu ‘menang’ secara tidak sengaja.
Suatu hari, Cici mencoba metode baru.
"Kali ini, kamu harus lompat ke lingkaran!"
Bobo tertidur sambil berdiri.
Cici menghela napas panjang, siap menghitung mundur.
PUFF!
Angin bertiup, mendorong Bobo yang sedang tidur hingga menggelinding, menabrak semua rintangan, lalu mendarat sempurna di garis finis.
Cici? Menatap kosong.
"BOBO! APAKAH KAU BARU SAJA MENYELESAIKAN SELURUH LATIHAN DENGAN TIDUR?!"
Bobo menguap, lalu mengangguk santai.
"Kayaknya iya."
Misi pertama Bobo? Menangkap monyet pencuri makanan.
Timnya? Harimau, Elang, dan Kuda. Semua super atletis..... kecuali Bobo.
Kuda menggeleng-geleng, lalu menatap Bobo. "Apakah ini..... teknik rahasia yang selama ini kau sembunyikan, Bobo?"
Bobo menatap mereka dengan ekspresi malas, mengunyah sisa pisangnya, lalu berkata, "Mungkin..... aku hanya punya aura pisang."
Sementara timnya masih kebingungan, monyet-monyet itu sudah asyik makan dan tidak sadar bahwa mereka kini telah dikepung sepenuhnya.
Ketua tim akhirnya bertepuk tangan. "Misi selesai! Bobo, kamu luar biasa!"
Bobo hanya mengangguk pelan, lalu..... tertidur.
Harimau: "Serius?!"
Tim hanya bisa tertawa sambil membawa para monyet pergi.
Bobo?
Bab 7: Pelajaran Dari Sloth Tercepat
Semua tertawa. Bobo tetap legenda.
Dan ia tetap santai… dengan sedikit usaha.
EPILOG: Filosofi Bobo Menular (??)
Sejak kemenangan Bobo, banyak hewan mulai mengikuti caranya.
Di tepi sungai, seekor kura-kura berdiri diam.
"Aku sedang menunggu keberuntungan datang... seperti Bobo." katanya.
"Akhirnya... dunia mulai mengerti cara hidupku."
Dan dengan tenang, ia kembali tidur.
🎉 SELESAI!
Cuddle Force : The Hug That Save Snuggleburg
FEBRUARY 24, 2025
Chapter 1: The Grumpies Arrive
It was a crisp autumn morning in Snuggleburg, where the air smelled like cinnamon and the streets were lined with golden leaves. The townspeople were starting their day with warm cocoa and cheerful chatter...until something strange happened.
A grumpy cloud rolled into town.
Not a storm cloud, not a fog, but something different. Tiny, swirling shadows scurried through the streets, whispering little complaints and spreading frowns. The Grumpies had arrived.
Lulu Lovewrap felt the shift immediately. She had just finished knitting a scarf for Mrs. Winkle’s cat when she noticed Mr. Jollyman, the happiest baker in town, suddenly slam his bakery door shut. Across the street, the usually sweet Miss Daisy muttered angrily at a crooked street sign. Even the birds stopped chirping.
Lulu’s heart pounded. This was no ordinary bad mood...it was a full on Grumpy attack!!!
Chapter 2: A Warm Welcome (and a Slight Panic)
Inside the treehouse, a group of kids was waiting for her. A boy with fluffy earmuffs smiled warmly. A girl who seemed to glow with a soft golden light waved at her. Another kid, holding a tray of fresh cookies, grinned. And floating in the air was a blanket, moving as if it had a life of its own.
Lulu stared. “Who are you?”
The boy with the earmuffs stepped forward. “We’re the Cuddle Force. And Lulu… you have powers, too.”
Lulu blinked. “Wait... what?”
Sunny Snuggles grinned. “Your scarf? It’s not just for knitting. You have warmth magic, Lulu!”
Chapter 3: Operation Snuggle Shield
Boss Grizzle stomped his foot, sending a wave of icy wind toward the treehouse. The windows frosted over, and Lulu shivered despite the warm quilt Breezy had wrapped around her.
“We need to act fast!” Toby said, grabbing a basket filled with glowing marshmallows. “Sunny, activate the Snuggle Shield!”
Sunny nodded and placed her hands together. A soft golden light spread from her fingertips, forming a warm, glowing barrier around the treehouse just as Boss Grizzle’s icy wind hit. The cold shattered against the shield, sending tiny sparkles into the air.
Chapter 4: The Battle of Cozy vs. Cranky
Breezy Blanket flung herself into the air, wrapping Grumpies in warm, fluffy fabric. Milo Muffin launched cookies like tiny shields, and Toby Toasty heated up the battlefield with bursts of comforting warmth.
Lulu hesitated for a moment, then grinned. “Time to knit some trouble.” She whipped out her scarf, channeling its magic.
“I have an idea!” she announced. “What if we distract the Grumpies with...a spontaneous pajama dance party?”
“Wait, what?!” the team shouted in shock. Boss Grizzle growled.
“If we confuse them enough, they’ll forget to be grumpy!” Lulu explained, pulling out a pair of extra-fuzzy slippers. “And nothing fights bad moods like dancing in ridiculous pajamas.”
Sunny clapped her hands. “Genius!”
Seconds later, the battlefield was transformed into a chaos of spinning, giggling kids in fuzzy onesies, hurling marshmallows and twirling scarves. The Grumpies looked around, completely bewildered.
Boss Grizzle howled. “This is NOT how battles work!”
But it was too late...the Grumpies were now accidentally having fun.
Lulu smirked. “Mission snuggle success!”
Chapter 5: The Plan Fails!
Just when the team thought they had won, something unexpected happened. The Grumpies suddenly snapped out of their accidental fun, shaking off the silliness.
Boss Grizzle smirked. “Nice try, but we’re still grumpy!”
The Grumpies began to regroup, their frowns returning. Lulu gulped. “Uh-oh... this isn’t working!”
Toby looked around. “We need a new plan...fast!”
Milo bit into a cookie. “Does anyone have a backup plan?”
Boss Grizzle loomed closer. “Looks like it’s our turn now.”
Chapter 6: The Final Showdown
Boss Grizzle loomed over the Cuddle Force, his grumpy energy intensifying. The Grumpies, now back in full force, swirled around him like a storm cloud.
Lulu tightened her grip on her scarf. “Alright, team... Plan B!”
Toby looked nervous. “Uh, what’s Plan B?”
Lulu hesitated, then shrugged. “We make it up as we go!”
Breezy Blanket swooped into the air, wrapping two Grumpies in a warm embrace, but they wiggled free. Milo Muffin threw cookies, but this time, the Grumpies dodged. Sunny Snuggles sent out a burst of golden warmth, but Boss Grizzle stomped his foot, blocking it with a gust of cold wind.
“This isn’t working!” Toby shouted.
Boss Grizzle chuckled darkly. “Face it, kids. You’re out of tricks!”
Lulu took a deep breath. Maybe they were out of tricks... but they weren’t out of heart.
She stepped forward, her scarf glowing brighter. “Boss Grizzle... I know why you’re so grumpy.”
He scoffed. “Oh yeah? Enlighten me.”
“You’ve never had a real hug.”
The battlefield went silent.
Boss Grizzle blinked. “Excuse me?”
Lulu smiled gently. “You stomp around, scowl, and grumble because deep down... you just need someone to show you a little warmth.”
Boss Grizzle opened his mouth to argue...but before he could, Lulu leaped forward and hugged him tight!
"Team! Let's hug Boss Grizzle and the Grumpies together!"
The Cuddle Force gasped and did exactly as Lulu told them, wrapping Boss Grizzle and the Grumpies in the biggest, warmest group hug Snuggleburg had ever seen.
Boss Grizzle shuddered. His icy exterior started to melt. His frown twitched. His arms, stiff at first, hesitated... then slowly, he hugged her back.
A ripple of warmth spread from Lulu’s glowing scarf, wrapping around the Grumpies. One by one, their frowns softened. Their grumbles faded. They blinked at each other in confusion...until suddenly, they were no longer Grumpies at all, but tiny, glowing creatures filled with happiness.
The townspeople of Snuggleburg peeked from their windows, amazed.
Boss Grizzle sniffled, rubbing his eyes. “I... I don’t feel grumpy anymore?”
Toby Toasty grinned. “That’s the power of cuddles, buddy.”
The Cuddle Force cheered. The battle was over. And just like that, Snuggleburg was safe once more.
As the sun set, the Cuddle Force gathered at their treehouse, watching the town below. Lulu wrapped her scarf around her neck, feeling warm inside...not just because of her powers, but because she had found her place.
“In the heart of Snuggleburg, where hugs were as strong as superpowers, happiness always found a way to shine.”
The End.
Magical Morning Routines for Families
FEBRUARY 19, 2025
Let’s face it, mornings with kids can sometimes feel like trying to dress squirrels in tiny uniforms. But mornings don’t have to be a wild mix of lost socks, spilled cereal, and last-minute backpack searches. With a little creativity (and maybe some coffee for you), mornings can transform into a time of laughter, bonding, and a smooth start to the day.
Ready to add some sparkle to your family’s morning routine? Here are some fun ideas to turn chaos into magic.
1. The Royal Wake-Up Call
Why wake up with a boring alarm when you can start the day like royalty? Each morning, appoint a Royal Family Member to ring an imaginary morning bell and declare, “Good morning, Kingdom of [You Can Use Your Last Name]!”
If your kids struggle to wake up, add some excitement. Try a fun challenge, like a contest for the best morning stretch or the quickest pajama-to-uniform change.
For extra fun, wear a towel as a cape, pretend to be a knight waking up the royal family, and place a crown on your little ruler’s head. The cat might judge you, but it is all part of the magic.
2. Magical Wishes and Silly Predictions
Before breakfast, take a moment to share one thing you are grateful for and one fun prediction for the day.
Gratitude: “I am grateful that Mom did not spill the cereal this time.”
Prediction: “Today, I will finish my math homework and maybe discover I have superpowers.”
To make it more fun, keep a “Wacky Predictions” journal to see which ones come true. Spoiler alert: the one about spilled milk usually does.
3. Breakfast or a Mini Cooking Show?
Breakfast can be chaotic, so why not make it an event? Turn the morning meal into a mini cooking show where each family member plays a role. Someone flips the eggs, someone sprinkles toppings, and the youngest takes on the very important job of Official Taste Tester.
For extra fun, add a countdown timer and pretend you are hosting a cooking competition. “Will Dad’s eggs survive the flip, or will they meet their tragic fate on the floor?”
Bonus points if kids wear aprons and call you Chef Mom or Sir Dad of the Kitchen.
4. Morning Magic with a Dash of Mischief
Make mornings an adventure by adding a little magic to the routine. Try one of these fun ideas:
Create a family spell to bring good vibes. Example: “Abra-kidabra, let today be full of smiles and no lost pencils.”
Choose a Family Motto of the Day. Yesterday: “Be kind.” Today: “Do not lick random objects.”
Play Magical Object Hide-and-Seek. Hide a small trinket like a toy wand or a lucky spoon, and the first person to find it before leaving gets a small reward.
5. The Get-Out-the-Door Game Show
The morning rush does not have to feel like a race against time. Turn it into a fun challenge by awarding points for:
Fastest shoe-tying or uniform buttoning
Neatest uniform and most put-together look
Packing the backpack without needing a rescue mission from Mom
The winner gets to choose the morning playlist for the drive or the best seat in the car tomorrow. The ultimate prize is the title of Morning Champion, which comes with bragging rights for the rest of the day.
For extra fun, add a Random Acts of Kindness Bonus Round where points are given for helping a sibling find their shoes, packing someone else’s snack, or feeding the pet without being asked.
6. Farewell Like a Family of Rockstars
Make goodbyes exciting with these fun send-offs:
Create a secret handshake so complicated it could go viral on social media.
Chant: “Go Team [Your Last Name]! We got this!” while high-fiving.
Slip silly notes into lunchboxes. Nothing says “I love you” like a surprise message that says, “Carrots are just crunchy orange magic sticks.”
Why Mornings Should Be Magical
Mornings do not have to be perfect, but they can always be fun. With a little creativity and a touch of silliness, you can start the day with smiles, laughter, and special moments your family will remember forever.
So tomorrow, trade the grumpy rush for a little morning magic and see what happens. If you do end up wearing your shirt backward, at least you will look extra cool doing it.
Short Story : The Mirror That Showed Kindness
FEBRUARY 15, 2025
In the small, quiet town of Willowridge, there was an antique shop tucked away in a cobblestone alley. It wasn’t the kind of place most people noticed... its windows were dusty, and the treasures inside were hidden under piles of forgotten things. But on one rainy afternoon, Mara pushed open the creaky door and stepped inside.
Mara wasn’t someone people liked to bump into. She wore a battered leather jacket, her wild hair was always messy, and her sharp eyes seemed to pierce through anyone who dared look at her. The townsfolk whispered about her... stories of stolen wallets and trouble wherever she went.
As Mara shook off the rain and wandered deeper into the shop, her eyes caught something in the back corner...a tall, old mirror. Its frame was cracked, and the glass was cloudy, as if it had secrets it didn’t want to share.
The shopkeeper, a kind man with a gentle smile, stepped out from behind the counter. "Curious thing, isn’t it?" he said. "This mirror doesn’t show what’s outside... it shows what’s inside."
Mara rolled her eyes. "What’s that supposed to mean? Some kind of magic trick?"
The shopkeeper only smiled. "Why don’t you take a closer look?"
Mara leaned toward the mirror, expecting to see her usual scowling reflection. At first, that’s all she saw... tired eyes, unkempt hair, and the permanent frown she had carried for years. But then, something strange happened.
The surface shimmered, and the glass seemed to ripple like water. Mara gasped as the image began to change.
She saw a little girl sitting in the rain, cradling an injured puppy. Mara blinked. That little girl was her. She remembered that day... sneaking her dinner scraps to the stray dog until it healed.
The mirror shimmered again. Now, she saw a teenager slipping sandwiches into the backpacks of two classmates who never had lunch. Mara’s chest tightened. She had almost forgotten she used to do that.
One more ripple, and the image changed again. A young woman, carrying an old man’s groceries up six flights of stairs. The man had smiled so brightly, but Mara had hurried away before he could thank her.
Mara stepped back from the mirror, her voice shaking. "What... what kind of trick is this?"
"No trick," the shopkeeper said quietly. "It shows kindness... even the moments we forget about ourselves."
Mara’s scowl softened as she stared at the mirror. "No one sees this side of me," she muttered. "They just see... this." She waved her hand over her worn jacket and the hardened look on her face.
The shopkeeper’s voice was gentle. "Sometimes, the world doesn’t see the whole picture... but kindness isn’t about what others see. It’s about what you do, even when no one is looking."
Mara left the shop that day feeling something strange in her chest... something warm. The rain had stopped, but she hardly noticed. When she turned back to look at the shop one last time, it was gone.
The next morning, Mara woke up thinking about the mirror. She couldn’t shake the feeling it had left behind. For the first time in years, she found herself remembering the kind things she had done... things no one else had noticed.
She decided to try something small. Mara spotted a stray dog near the bakery and bought it a warm bun. The next day, she left a bag of groceries on the porch of a struggling family. At first, she made sure no one saw her. It felt safer that way.
But soon, people began to notice little changes. Warm blankets appeared at the shelter. Lost pets were returned home. The grumpy woman in the leather jacket had started to nod at people on the street... sometimes even smile.
One day, a young boy knocked on Mara’s door, holding a plate of cookies. "My mom said to thank you for the food," he said, his big eyes full of wonder.
Mara froze for a moment, then gave him a small smile. "You’re welcome," she said softly.
The whispers in the town didn’t stop overnight, but they began to change. People no longer spoke of Mara as a troublemaker. They spoke of the mysterious good deeds, of the woman whose tough exterior was slowly softening.
Mara didn’t care much about the whispers anymore. She had realized something important. The mirror hadn’t shown her anything new... it had only reminded her of who she truly was.
Years later, when Mara walked through the streets of Willowridge, people waved at her. They smiled, they chatted, and they saw her for more than her leather jacket and sharp eyes.
Mara still carried herself with quiet pride, but now, she knew something she hadn’t before. She liked what she saw...not in the mirror, but in her own heart.
Dressing Head-to-Toe in Yellow
FEBRUARY 14, 2025
The day began with a challenge: finding enough yellow clothing to create an unbelievable outfit for me...especially since I don’t even like yellow. From a bright yellow top to a yellow skirt, yellow shoes, and even a yellow pineapple bag, I pieced together a look that I immediately started to regret.
At first, I felt a little ridiculous...like I was auditioning to be a walking sunflower or even worse, a walking banana. But as I left the house, something unexpected happened: people started smiling at me. Strangers greeted me more warmly than usual, and a friend even said, “Wow, you look so cheerful today!”
I was honestly confused...are they blind??? Or were they just trying to be nice so I wouldn’t feel embarrassed?
Whatever the reason, it made me rethink how something as simple as color could change the energy I brought into the world.
Throughout the day, I noticed some unexpected shifts in my mood, almost like I was part of a psychological experiment:
Morning: I started to hate yellow even more. It felt like I was living in a caution sign...loud, overwhelming, and impossible to ignore.
Afternoon: Well… maybe it’s okay. Was I actually getting used to this? Maybe my brain was trying to trick me into thinking yellow wasn’t so bad... like some kind of survival mechanism. I was actually starting to adapt to my banana-style existence.
Evening: By the end of the day, yellow started to feel like more than just a color...it was almost a symbol of joy I carried with me. Or maybe my brain just gave up and decided, “Fine, yellow wins today!” Either way, I survived.
Psychologists believe that colors can evoke emotional responses. Yellow, in particular, is linked to increased energy and a more optimistic outlook. However, it’s also a tricky color. Too much yellow can sometimes cause feelings of frustration or anxiety (and yep, I was already feeling the frustration by 9 a.m.).
The key, apparently, is balance...using just enough yellow to brighten the day without overloading your senses. But balance clearly flew out the window for me...because, honestly, what was I thinking!? Who wears ALL yellow? Did I forget how my brain works that day? Was I temporarily possessed by a lemon...or a banana?
This little experiment taught me something unexpected: color really can affect your mood...not just your own, but the people around you too. While I may not wear head to toe yellow every day (thank goodness!). I’ll definitely consider adding more bright hues to my wardrobe.
So, does yellow affect your mood? Why not try it for yourself and see? It might brighten your day… or turn it into a comedy of errors. Sure, you might regret your life choices by lunch, but at least you’ll have a good laugh...probably at yourself (and no! I wasn’t possessed by a lemon… or a banana). 😂🍋
What Ants Can Teach Us About Joy
FEBRUARY 12, 2025
Have you ever stopped to watch ants? Those tiny creatures moving around quickly, carrying loads that look way too big for their size (sometimes even bigger than their own bodies), working tirelessly without a single complaint. It’s easy to ignore them because they’re so small, almost unnoticeable… unless one decides to bite you. (That changes everything, doesn’t it?) But if you take a moment to really look, there’s an inspiring world of lessons waiting to be discovered, lessons about joy that might just shift the way you see life.
Finding Joy in Resilience
Ants don’t give up. Block their path, and they’ll calmly figure out another way. Knock over their food? They’ll pick it back up, no big deal. Their resilience is their quiet superpower.
Have you ever had one of those days where everything goes wrong? Like when your coffee spills, your Wi-Fi stops working, and your socks don’t match? Ants remind us that setbacks are temporary. Joy isn’t about avoiding obstacles; it’s about facing them head-on, finding solutions, and realizing that we’re stronger than we think. Just like the ants, we can rebuild and move forward, even if it takes a few tries.
The Magic of Togetherness
Ants are the ultimate team players. They carry food, build homes, and face challenges together, all without a single complaint. Watching them reminds me of how special it feels to share moments with others, whether it’s working on a family project, tackling something tricky as a group, or just laughing until your sides hurt with friends.
Of course, teamwork isn’t always smooth. Sometimes, someone drops the flour everywhere during baking (and suddenly, it’s snowing in your kitchen). But honestly? It’s those messy, chaotic moments that make life sweeter. Joy doesn’t just come from the result. It’s in the shared laughs, the funny mistakes, and the “we actually did it!” feeling at the end.
So the next time you’re knee-deep in a group effort, remember the ants. If they can get through their tasks without grumbling, so can we. And who knows? You might just create some unforgettable memories along the way.
Adapting to the Unexpected
Life doesn’t always go as planned, just like the trails ants walk. One minute, they’re on smooth ground, and the next, they’re climbing over twigs and rocks. But do they stop? Nope. They adjust and keep going.
It’s a reminder for us, too, when things don’t go your way, don’t freeze. Take a deep breath, adjust, and keep moving forward. Who knows? That detour might lead to something wonderful. And even if it doesn’t, it’s still part of your story. Life is one big, unpredictable adventure, and honestly, isn’t that what makes it fun?
Small Actions, Big Happiness
An ant carries just one tiny grain of sand, but together, they can build an entire colony. That’s incredible, isn’t it? It’s proof that little actions—tiny, everyday efforts—can add up to something amazing.
Maybe it’s a simple “thank you,” helping someone carry groceries, or sharing your last slice of pizza (the ultimate sacrifice). These small moments of kindness have the power to spread happiness. And the best part? You don’t need to do something huge to make a difference. One step, one grain, one smile at a time. That’s how joy grows.
A New Perspective on Joy
The next time you see an ant, pause for a moment. Watch how they move, how they work, and how they never give up. They’re tiny, sure, but they’re also determined, focused, and kind of inspiring when you think about it.
And maybe joy isn’t about chasing perfection or creating big plans that stress us out (because, let’s be honest, plans rarely go perfectly anyway.) Maybe joy is about resilience, about sharing love, and about appreciating the little things, like an ant-sized victory or a moment of laughter on a hard day.
So today, let’s take a note from the ants. Let’s carry our own little grain of happiness, no matter how small, and keep building something amazing. If ants can do it, so can we. Who knows? Maybe we’ll even surprise ourselves.
Resetting My Mind—
Because Everything Changed And I Need To Adapt Fast!
FEBRUARY 7, 2025
Life’s funny, isn’t it? One day, everything feels stable, and the next—boom—everything flips upside down. I used to think I had it all figured out, but surprise! Turns out, life loves throwing curveballs. So here I am, hitting the reset button on my mind because things have changed, and I need to be way more flexible.
Because our brains love patterns! Familiar things feel cozy, like a well-worn sweater or that one playlist you always go back to. But when life messes up our playlist, we panic. Why? Because change = unknown, and unknown = scary. But guess what? Change is also exciting (if we let it be).
Yeah, I liked the old way of doing things. It was predictable. It made sense. But reality check: that version of life doesn’t exist anymore. Holding onto the past is like trying to charge a phone with a broken cable—it’s not gonna work. Time to unplug and try something new.
For example, Indonesia removed the National Exam (UN), and for years, students were relieved—no more high-stakes final tests. But guess what? Now there’s talk about bringing it back. At first, students, parents, and maybe even teachers might panic (even if they don’t show it). The first reaction might be something like: "What?! Why is it back?!"
And when I read and saw the discussions, it seemed like a lot of people actually want it back. Or… maybe that’s just how the media makes it look? Honestly, I don’t know. But here’s the thing...whether we like it or not, if it’s coming back, the best move is to adapt. New rules? Fine. We strategize, adjust, and try to ace it. Because flexibility isn’t about wishing things were different, it’s about making the best of what’s in front of us. 💪
Seriously, when everything shifts, you’ve got two choices: cry or laugh. And let’s be real...laughter is way more fun. Change might feel like a rollercoaster with no seatbelt, but hey, at least it’s an adventure!
Imagine students who thought they’d never have to face UN again. Now, they have to deal with it again. Instead of stressing out, why not take it as a challenge?
"Okay, UN, you’re back? Watch me make my kids crush it." (I hope so! 🤣)
Because let’s be real, parenting is already a wild ride, and if we’ve made it this far, we can handle this too! 💪😆
Instead of saying, "Ugh, everything is out of control," I’m flipping the script to, "Wow, look at me learning new skills and adapting like a boss!" Mindset matters, and I’d rather be the hero of my story than the side character stuck in panic mode.
And let’s be honest—I’m clumsy as heck! Believe me, sometimes I turn a simple task into a full-blown mess. But hey, even heroes trip over their capes, right? As long as I keep getting up (and maybe laughing at myself along the way), I’m still winning! 🤣
Wait… my readers are not only millennials. Do you even know Bruce Lee? 🤔 If not, let me introduce you to a legend!
Bruce Lee wasn’t just a martial arts master; he was the symbol of flexibility (physically and mentally). He famously said, “Be like water.” Water doesn’t fight obstacles; it flows around them, finds new paths, and still reaches its destination. So when plans get derailed? I’m taking a deep breath and adjusting instead of freaking out.
Not vibing with Bruce Lee? Okay, let’s go new-gen. Imagine you’re in a game—you don’t rage quit when you hit a hard level, right? You strategize, respawn, and try again. That’s exactly how life works.
Back to the UN comeback example...students who stay flexible will find ways to adapt instead of complaining. They’ll discover smarter study methods, use technology, and find new ways to succeed under the new system. That’s what being like water means.
I don’t need to have everything figured out right now. I just need to take one step, then another. Baby steps count. No pressure, no perfection—just progress.
Worried about UN coming back? Instead of overloading yourself with stress, break it into steps:
✔️ Understand the new format.
✔️ Find the best way to study.
✔️ Take practice tests in small chunks.
Boom! You’re already moving forward.
(Honestly, I still can't accept it. I definitely hate it… WHY NOOOOOWWW?! 😭 It feels like life just dropped a surprise test on me when I didn’t even bring a pen! Seriously, who asked for this??! I am this close to throwing a full tantrum on the floor… someone...please bring me an ice cream before I lose it! 🍦🤣)
Okay, deep breath. Be like water... be like water... or at least be like coffee—strong and ready to handle anything. ☕😂
What if change isn’t something to fear but something to explore? Instead of, "Oh no, this is different! We’re already in the digital era, the lessons are different, the challenges are different!" I started asking myself, "Huh, I wonder what happens if I try this? My kids aren’t great at Indonesian, maybe I should try this approach instead..."
Andddd… I don’t know the result. I’m still afraid I might mess up with my decision, but at least I’m trying. A little curiosity turns stress into possibility. (Or into a Google search at 2 AM where I overanalyze everything… same thing, right? 🤣)
No negative vibes here! I’m sticking with people who inspire, uplift, and remind me that I can handle anything. Energy is contagious, and I’d rather catch excitement than fear.
If UN is back, I’d rather be around people who say, "We got this! Yes, you can do it!" than people who complain all day.
Even though I’m still the one who wants to cry because I’m struggling to accept it, I think I need to book an appointment with a psychologist. Is there a "Mom Therapy for Sudden Exam Announcements" package? Asking for a friend... aka me. 🤣
The more I resist change, the harder it gets. But the more I flow with it, the easier life feels. So here’s to resetting my mind, embracing the unknown, and being flexible enough to dance through it all.
Because if everything’s changing, I might as well enjoy the ride… while crying a little on the side. 😂🚀✨
See? Even if UN makes a surprise comeback, there’s always a way to tackle it with a flexible mindset. Now tell me, what’s the biggest change YOU’RE adapting to right now? Let’s suffer—I mean, strategize—together! 😆
Facing My Worries About the Return of Ujian Nasional
FEBRUARY 5, 2025
Parenting is like trying to sip coffee while riding a rollercoaster...thrilling, unpredictable, and sometimes downright terrifying. Just when I thought I had a solid grasp on my child’s education...focusing on their independence and helping them believe in their own abilities — BAM! News about the return of Ujian Nasional (National Exam) hits! and suddenly...I’m clutching my coffee cup for dear life.
Exams have their place, sure. But do we really need another high-stakes test that turns into a stress-filled academic marathon? Haven’t we learned from the past?
Back then, education was rigid, and students were forced into a one-size-fits-all system. We saw what happened...students were so terrified of failing that “exam answer trading” became a thing, cheating skyrocketed, and burnout became part of everyday life.
And in primary school? Really??? I understand if this happens in high school, but at the primary level? At this stage, children should still be learning how to manage their emotions, develop curiosity, and enjoy the learning process—not dealing with academic pressure that even adults struggle with!
Do we really want to go through all that again? Just thinking about it makes my head feel like an overheated Wi-Fi router— blinking red, freezing up, and seconds away from a total system crash!
My child is bright, curious, and full of ideas...sometimes a little too creative, but I love that about them. The challenge? Indonesian isn’t their strongest language. They think in English, dream in English, and even sleep-talk in English.
And I can almost guarantee they complain about me in English too!
So, the idea of them sitting through a national exam in a language they aren’t fully comfortable with? That’s enough to keep me awake at night...and not in a productive brainstorming session kind of way.
The National Exam is supposed to measure knowledge, but let’s be real—it’s mostly just a memory test.
And my kid? Not exactly the “let’s memorize 200 historical dates for fun” type.
They thrive on curiosity, asking a million “why” questions, making unexpected connections, and solving problems in ways that even surprise me!
But if the exam is just about cramming information and repeating it word-for-word, does that really show their true abilities?
More importantly, should a single test decide a child’s entire academic future?
Education should be about discovery, those “aha!” moments, and the joy of learning.
A test might show who can memorize the most formulas under pressure, but it won’t measure creativity, adaptability, or resilience—skills that actually matter in life.
Because let’s be real, life isn’t a neatly structured multiple-choice quiz. It’s more like a chaotic essay with no rubric.
Now, let’s talk about stress. Not mine (though, trust me, I have plenty), but the kind our kids go through.
Parents want their children to succeed—that’s normal. But sometimes, that expectation snowballs into Everest-mountain-level pressure.
We push them to achieve high scores, to be the best...but at what cost?
I don’t want my child to see school as an endless cycle of test prep, where their self-worth is just a number on a piece of paper.
All this time, I’ve told my kids that it’s okay to get a low score...what matters is the process and how they improve.
But this test? If it’s the only factor in deciding whether they move forward—like it was in our time...what am I supposed to do?
And honestly? I worry about myself too.
Am I really immune to panic when tryout scores come back low? Will I start obsessing over grades, pushing harder, stressing more?
I’d like to think I’m above that, but let’s be real...I’m human. And the closer we get to the big test, the harder it is to stay completely chill.
If we turn education into a high-stakes competition, are we raising lifelong learners or just kids who know how to perform under pressure?
What about creativity?
What about problem-solving?
And more importantly...what about the ability to stay calm when the Wi-Fi crashes in the middle of an important online game?
Now that’s a real-life skill.
Look, I’m not against testing, and no matter what happens, I know my kids can handle it...I believe in them.
I understand that assessments help track progress, and maybe a standardized exam can provide a consistent benchmark for education in this country.
But if National Exams return, can we at least make sure they’re fair?
That they aren’t the only factor in a child’s future?
That they test more than just memorization...maybe with fun, engaging project-based learning, real-world problem-solving, and a focus on actual progress?
Imagine students building models, solving real-life problems, making presentations, and creating projects that excite them.
Instead of just memorizing formulas, they could apply them in creative ways...turning abstract concepts into something meaningful.
Education should be about growth, curiosity, and problem-solving, not just flipping through textbooks and repeating facts.
As a parent, I’ll be here, cheering my child on, no matter what.
If the test is back, we’ll prepare—but I’ll also make sure they keep learning in ways that spark curiosity and excitement.
Because at the end of the day, I don’t just want a child who can pass an exam.
I want a child who loves learning, who asks bold questions, and who knows their worth goes far beyond a test score.
So, for now, I’ll be keeping an eye on these National Exam discussions—with cautious optimism, a sense of humor, and an ever-growing stockpile of coffee.
Yes. And now, I need a whole lot more coffee. ☕🔥
The Day I Thought Was Ordinary... But Turned Out Special
FEBRUARY 5, 2025
Some days don’t come with fireworks. They don’t start with a grand sunrise or a big event to look forward to. They just... begin.
That was today.
The morning was the usual... getting the kids ready, checking my to-do list, making sure everything was in place. It wasn’t a bad day, but it wasn’t exciting either. Just one of those days where time moves forward, and I move along with it.
At least, that’s what I thought.
The shift didn’t happen in a dramatic way. It wasn’t a big surprise or a life-changing moment. It was small, almost too easy to miss.
Maybe it was Olive suddenly bursting into a random dance while putting on her socks... or the way she called me excitedly, "Come here, I want to show you something cute!" It was just a doodle she made, but the way she smiled made my heart melt.
Then there was Milan, casually telling me, “I finished my team project.” Just like that. No big announcement, no extra excitement. But I knew how much effort she had put into it... I knew the planning, the teamwork, the little challenges she had to figure out. And hearing her say it so simply... like it was just another thing on her list... made me proud in a way I didn’t expect.
Or maybe it was just the way my coffee tasted extra good today... warm, rich, just right.
And then there was a message. A simple “How are you?” from a friend I hadn’t talked to in a while. The kind of message that feels like a warm hug... reminding you that people still think of you, even in the quiet.
It hit me.
This day that I thought was just ordinary was actually full of small, beautiful moments. They weren’t loud or obvious, but they were there... waiting to be noticed.
I had been so focused on big things that I almost missed the tiny joys sneaking into my day.
A little laugh... a little sweetness... a little pause in the rush.
And suddenly, what started as an ordinary day turned into something special.
It made me think... how many beautiful moments slip past us because we’re too busy looking for something bigger?
Not every day needs to be a milestone. Some of the best days are just regular days... filled with small things that feel like sunshine if you let them.
So today, I’m holding on to these moments... the tiny joys, the little surprises, the unexpected warmth in the middle of a regular day.
And maybe, just maybe, I’ll wake up tomorrow with a new thought...
No day is truly ordinary... if we pay attention. 💛

A Short Story Poem From Indonesia For A Little One

A Poem For A Little One
NOVEMBER 28, 2024
A Letter To The Teachers Who Shape Our Hearts
NOVEMBER 25, 2024
Dear Teachers,
Today, on Teacher's Day, I find myself pausing to think about you, the ones who’ve left an indelible mark on not just my mind, but my heart. You are so much more than educators, you are builders of dreams, nurturers of potential, and the silent architects of futures.
I still remember my first teacher, holding my hand as I stumbled through my early steps of learning. Your voice was a melody of reassurance, your patience a gentle push to keep trying. And as the years passed, different faces filled the roles of "teacher" in my life, each of you adding a layer of wisdom and warmth to the person I have become.
You taught me the lessons I needed to succeed in school, but you also showed me how to face life with courage, with kindness, and with hope. From the teacher who first told me, "You can do it," to the one who sat with me long after class ended because I didn’t yet believe in myself, you’ve done more than teach. You’ve cared.
It’s the small things you do that stick with us forever:
The way you remember our names, even years after we’ve left your classrooms.
The way you notice when something’s wrong, even when we don’t say a word.
The way you cheer the loudest for us, whether we’re on stage, on the field, or simply standing a little taller after conquering a fear.
Those moments? They matter. They remind us that we are seen, that we are valued, and that we are enough.
How do I thank you for being the person who shaped my child’s curiosity, who turned her mistakes into lessons, and who taught her that success isn’t measured by grades but by effort and heart? How do I thank you for making my daughters feel that they belong, that they are capable, and that they are loved?
There aren’t enough words. But today, I will try.
Thank you for your long hours, for the sleepless nights planning lessons, and for the energy you pour into every child who walks through your door. Thank you for being patient when we are not, for being kind when the world is harsh, and for showing us how to rise after we stumble.
You don’t just teach subjects; you teach souls.
This Teacher’s Day, my heart is full of gratitude for you. To the teachers who changed my life, to the ones who inspire my children, and to every teacher who gives so much of themselves: you are extraordinary.
Please know this: what you do matters more than you’ll ever know. You may not always see the fruits of your labor, but in every success story, there is a teacher’s quiet, loving influence.
With all my heart, thank you.
To everyone reading this, let’s take a moment today to honor the teachers who have touched our lives. Send them a message, give them a hug, or simply whisper a prayer of thanks. They deserve it all and more.
Happy Teacher’s Day, to the heroes who change the world one student at a time. You are loved. You are cherished. You are remembered.
With warmth and gratitude,
Dea

Creating a Family Adventure Bucket List:
Building Joyful Moments Together
NOVEMBER 23, 2024
Some of the sweetest family memories come from shared adventures. It’s not just about where you go or what you do—it’s the togetherness, the laughter, and the joy of discovering something new with the people you love. A family adventure bucket list isn’t just a plan; it’s a collection of dreams waiting to bloom, each one a little sprinkle of happiness for your journey together.
Gather your family, a cozy spot, and maybe some snacks too. This is where the magic begins. Let everyone’s imagination run wild as you share ideas. Big dreams, small wishes—it all matters because every voice in the family deserves to be heard.
Here’s how to get started:
Ask questions like:
“If we could go anywhere, where would it be?”
“What’s something new you’d love to try?”
“What’s a fun place nearby we haven’t explored yet?”
Write it all down. You’ll be amazed at the ideas that bubble up when everyone shares their dreams.
Not every adventure needs to be grand to be magical. Some of the most cherished moments are found in simple joys. Balance your bucket list with both big dreams and little bursts of happiness:
Big Adventures: A trip to the mountains, snorkeling in turquoise waters, or exploring a new country together.
Little Adventures: A last-minute picnic in the park, flying kites on a sunny afternoon, or stargazing from your backyard.
Sometimes, the smallest moments leave the biggest imprints on our hearts.
Your family is beautifully unique, and your bucket list should be too. Make sure it reflects each person’s dreams and interests.
For the explorers: Nature trails, treasure hunts, or a day at the zoo.
For the curious minds: Science museums, historical landmarks, or a craft workshop.
For the thrill-seekers: Rollerblading, zip-lining, or trying a new sport.
When everyone sees their ideas on the list, it becomes something special for the whole family.
Adventures are not just fun—they can be little windows into the world.
Explore cultural festivals or local markets.
Learn how to make traditional dishes together.
Spend an evening spotting constellations and making up your own star stories.
Learning something new as a family makes the journey even more meaningful.
It’s easy to get swept away with big plans, but starting small is just as wonderful. Your first adventure doesn’t need to be far or fancy, it just needs to happen. Maybe it’s a simple walk in a new park or trying a new recipe together at home. Every step is a memory in the making.
Don’t forget to treasure the moments. Take pictures, jot down funny things that happened, or save little souvenirs. Whether it’s a scrapbook or just a shared folder of photos, these will be the keepsakes that bring smiles long after the adventure is over.
To spark some inspiration, here are a few of our family favorites:
Camping in a caravan under the stars. This one turned into chaos! I heard a monkey outside the caravan, and it was so scary! But honestly, that memory filled with laughs, screams, and a little panic made it unforgettable.
Ordering something unexpected in a restaurant. (I once ordered mango juice with Tabasco. Strangely, I loved it! Maybe I really have a unique taste. 🌶️🥭)
Creating a nature-inspired art project from leaves, flowers, and whatever treasures we find outdoors. It’s amazing how creativity blooms when you work with what’s around you.
Visiting a new city and hunting for the best local snacks. There’s a certain joy in exploring through food, it’s like tasting the soul of the place.
Spending a whole day at the beach...no clocks, no plans, just letting time flow with the waves. Sandcastles, sea breezes, and the sound of laughter make it perfect.
These moments remind us that adventure doesn’t have to be far or fancy, it’s about the memories we create together.
A family adventure bucket list isn’t just about ticking off activities. It’s about making time for each other, sharing dreams, and finding joy in the simple act of being together. So grab a notebook, gather your loved ones, and start filling it with ideas, laughter, and a whole lot of heart. Because the best adventures are the ones you take together. 🌟

Turning Bad Days Into Sprinkles of Happiness
NOVEMBER 22, 2024
We all have those days when nothing seems to go right. Maybe it’s spilled coffee, a missed deadline, or plans falling apart. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and defeated, but I believe every bad day hides a sprinkle of happiness waiting to be uncovered. Let me share a personal story about one such day and how I found little sparks of joy even in the chaos.
It began with bad news the night before, which left me feeling unsettled. The next morning started with the classic mishap...spilling coffee all over my favorite shirt. As if that wasn’t enough, I got stuck in traffic and missed an important appointment. To top it off, the rain poured down just as I realized I had forgotten my umbrella.
Then came another piece of bad news, this time about my child. She had a tough day, the kind that weighs on a mother’s heart. Seeing her struggle broke me inside because it was something she hadn’t experienced before and was tough for her to process. As much as I wanted to shield her from it all, I knew I needed to be her anchor, to guide her through the storm and sprinkle some happiness into our lives.
It felt like a comedy of errors, except I wasn’t laughing…yet.
Here’s how I turned things around:
Spilled Coffee:
Instead of letting it ruin my mood, I used it as an opportunity to reset. I changed into cozy clothes, brewed another cup of coffee, and added a tolak angin sachet because I had run out of ginger! 😂 Surprisingly, the taste wasn’t…umm…bad! 😄 That small act of self-care, with a twist of humor, felt like a comforting hug and gave me a moment of calm before heading out.
Traffic Jams:
Stuck in a sea of cars, I decided to make the most of it. I played my favorite playlist and turned my car into a mini karaoke stage. Singing my heart out, making up lyrics, and even trying to create music right there in the car brought unexpected joy. It reminded me how much fun creativity can be, even in the worst situations.
Forgotten Umbrella:
At first, the rain felt like the final straw. But as I walked briskly through the drizzle, I noticed how refreshing it felt. It reminded me of childhood days when playing in the rain felt magical. That simple memory brought an unexpected smile to my face, turning the inconvenience into a small, happy moment.
In My Daughter’s Case:
I realized it was an opportunity to teach her a life lesson. I slowly explained that life isn’t always fair, and yes, sometimes it can be tough or even ugly. But I reminded her that she is strong and capable of facing challenges with courage.
I watched her reaction closely, wanting to make sure my words didn’t overwhelm her but instead gave her comfort and perspective. I did my best to show her that she’s never alone and that I’ll always be there to support her no matter what.
It wasn’t easy, but staying positive and keeping the focus on the bigger picture helped us both. I wanted her to understand that, while life has its struggles, it’s also filled with moments of beauty and strength. And sometimes, those moments are found in how we choose to face the hard times.
Staying positive doesn’t mean ignoring the pain, it means believing in the light that follows the darkness. And as I saw her smile through her tears, I knew we were both finding our way forward together. It wasn’t easy, but staying positive and keeping the focus on the bigger picture helped us both. I wanted her to understand that, while life has its struggles, it’s also filled with moments of beauty and strength. And sometimes, those moments are found in how we choose to face the hard times.
To lift her spirits, I decided to give her a short vacation. It turned out to be just what we needed, not only did it help her relax, but it also brought both of my girls closer together. They laughed a lot and created new happy memories that reminded me how resilient and beautiful their bond is.
Bad days don’t have to stay bad. Here’s what I learned:
A Reset Can Work Wonders:
Sometimes, all you need is a small act of self-kindness to reset your mood. Whether it’s changing into cozy clothes or adding tolak angin to your coffee (a surprising twist, but it worked!), these little changes can bring a sense of calm and control back to your day.
Perspective Changes Everything:
Instead of dwelling on what went wrong, I focused on small joys—music, a quirky coffee experiment ☕, the refreshing feel of rain, and moments of gratitude. Shifting my perspective helped me see the silver linings, even in a tough day.
The Power of Connection:
A hug, a heartfelt conversation, or simply being present for someone you love can turn a hard day into something meaningful. But finding the right person to talk to is essential. Sharing your feelings with someone you trust or seeking professional help, can make a world of difference.
The next time you’re having a tough day, try these simple steps:
Pause and Breathe:
Take a moment to collect yourself before reacting. I learned this from my tutor, someone who has been a true blessing in my life. Despite coming from different countries and cultures, her kindness and open heart made me feel heard and understood in ways I hadn’t expected.
As someone who often holds back emotions, even in front of family—because I feel like I need to be the strong one for everyone, having someone to talk to has been precious beyond words. Her guidance and willingness to simply listen have been a source of immense comfort during some of my most challenging days.
To my tutor: Thank you for being there and offering support when I needed it most. Your kindness has meant so much to me, and I am forever grateful. It's a reminder that sometimes, the smallest gestures of understanding can have the biggest impact on someone’s heart. 💕
Find One Small Joy:
Look for something or anything that can bring a smile to your face. A favorite song, a comforting snack, or even a funny memory can lighten your mood and remind you of the good in life.
Turn It Around:
Ask yourself: What can I do to make this moment a little better? Sometimes it’s as simple as adding a sprinkle of creativity, a deep breath, or a small act of self-care to reset your mindset.
Celebrate the Wins:
At the end of the day, take time to reflect. Acknowledge that you made it through. Celebrate even the smallest victories because they matter more than you think.
Bad days are inevitable, but they don’t define us. By looking for sprinkles of happiness in the mess, we can turn even the worst days into something meaningful. Remember, every rainstorm brings a rainbow, it’s up to us to find it.
And if you have a bad day...hey, just enjoy the process. I’m still figuring it out too! So, here we are, trying to stay strong together (with a little laughter along the way) 😄, because you’re never truly alone in this journey. SHORT STORY :
THE BEAST IS NEAR
NOVEMBER 17, 2024
"Olive!" I called out, my voice trembling. Only the eerie rustle of leaves answered.
Scratch. Scratch.
I froze. The sound was close—claws raking against bark. My breath hitched, and I swung the flashlight toward the trees.
“Olive?” I whispered, barely able to hear myself over my thundering heartbeat.
Then, a low growl echoed through the darkness, vibrating through the ground beneath my feet.
It came from behind me.
Slowly, I turned, the flashlight quivering as its beam landed on two glowing eyes. They stared at me from the shadows, unblinking and intense. My chest tightened as a hulking figure began to emerge.
A shape loomed tall and terrifying. Broad shoulders, sharp claws, and... scales?
My mind raced. A lion? No, too big. A dragon? But how?
The creature growled again, and I stumbled backward, barely able to breathe. "Please..." I stammered.
The beast tilted its head, stepping closer. My hands trembled, and just as I was certain this was the end, it opened its mouth and—
“Boo!”
“Olive?” I gasped.
The creature froze, then began laughing—a familiar, high-pitched giggle. My flashlight beam finally steadied enough to reveal the truth: the "beast" was Olive, draped in a ridiculous homemade costume. A long tail made of old blankets dragged behind her, and her "claws" were just kitchen tongs duct-taped to her gloves.
“Olive!” I shouted, my eyes red, on the verge of tears, half-relieved and half-exasperated. “What on earth are you doing?”
She doubled over with laughter. “I scared you, didn’t I, Sist?”
I sank to the ground, letting out a shaky laugh. “You scared me to death! I thought you were a lion... or a dragon!”
“Dragon? Cool!” She puffed out her chest, clearly proud of her terrifying performance. “I was trying to be a monster! Did it work?”
“Oh, it worked,” I said, pulling her into a hug. “Now let’s go home before you give me a real heart attack.”
As we walked back through the forest, I kept glancing over my shoulder, just in case. The night was still dark, and the fog still thick. But this time, I held Olive’s hand, and the “beast” was safely by my side.
I might not have found a lion or a dragon, but Olive? She was scarier than anything in my wildest imagination
Discover the Heart of Indonesia: Folk Tales to Warm Your Soul
MALIN KUNDANG : A STORY OF LOVE AND REGRET
NOVEMBER 5, 2024
Today, I’m excited to share a treasured story from my beautiful country, Indonesia. Folktales like Malin Kundang carry timeless lessons about love and respect that have been passed down through generations. They remind us of our roots and bring the magic of storytelling to life.
In this new series, I’ll be sharing some of Indonesia’s most beloved folk tales, so grab a cozy seat, a warm drink, and let’s dive into a world where every story carries a bit of heart and home. Here is the story:
Once upon a time, in a seaside village, a curious, kind-hearted boy named Malin Kundang lived with his mother, Mande Rubayah. Despite their humble life, Mande loved Malin deeply, always caring for him with her whole heart. One day, Malin fell very ill, and Mande used all her savings to nurse him back to health. After many days of her tender care, Malin finally recovered, and they celebrated his return to health.
As Malin grew older, he dreamed of adventure and treasures in distant lands. One day, he found a ship at the harbor and excitedly shared his dream of exploring the world with Mande. Though her heart felt heavy, Mande gave her blessing, she whispered “This world can be a tough place. But if you feel it is your time, go with my love. Promise me you'll come back soon”, tears glistening in her eyes.
Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into years. Mande waited patiently, praying every day for Malin’s safe return. She would ask every ship captain she met about her son, but they would shake their heads and say, “I’m sorry, Mande. I haven’t seen him.”
As time passed, Mande grew older and more tired. One day, a friendly ship captain came to her with exciting news. “Mande! Your son is rich now! He’s married to a beautiful noblewoman!” he said, his eyes twinkling. Mande felt her heart leap with joy. “Oh, Malin! Please come home soon. I’m waiting for you!” she prayed.
Then, one bright afternoon, a magnificent ship sailed into the harbor. It was the most beautiful ship Mande had ever seen, covered in shiny decorations. Out stepped a couple who looked like they belonged in a fairytale. Mande’s heart raced with hope. Could it be her Malin?
She rushed through the crowd, her heart pounding, and flung her arms around the man in fancy clothes. “Malin! My son! You’re back!” she cried, tears of joy streaming down her face. “Why didn’t you send me a message? I missed you so much!”
But to her shock, Malin pushed her away, looking at her with a frown. “Who is this old woman?” he scoffed. His wife looked down at Mande with a sneer. “Malin, you told me your mother was a noblewoman! What a lie!” she spat.
Malin felt angry and embarrassed. “I don’t know you!” he shouted, his voice cold. Mande felt her heart shatter. “Malin, I’m your mother! I’ve waited so long for you!” she pleaded, tears streaming down her cheeks.
But Malin was cruel. He kicked her away and yelled, “You’re just a poor, dirty old woman! You're not my mom!” His words felt like sharp arrows piercing Mande’s heart.
Mande fell to her knees, feeling all the sadness in the world. “Oh, Malin! Why would you do this to me?” she cried. But Malin and his wife turned their backs and walked away, leaving her alone on the shore.
Mande was heartbroken. She looked up at the sky and cried, “Oh, God! If he is not my son, I will forgive him. But if he truly is Malin Kundang, please show your justice!”
Suddenly, dark clouds rolled in, and the wind howled like a wild animal. A storm erupted, and the waves crashed violently against the shore. Malin’s beautiful ship was tossed and turned, and thunder rumbled like a giant’s roar.
The next morning, when the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, villagers found wreckage on the beach. Among the broken pieces of the ship, they discovered a strange stone statue—a man kneeling with his head bowed, as if begging for forgiveness.
Everyone whispered that it was Malin Kundang, cursed for turning his back on his loving mother. He would kneel forever, wishing he could take back his hurtful words.
And so, the story of Malin Kundang became a treasured tale in West Sumatra. It reminds us all to love our parents no matter what and to always remember their sacrifices. Love is the most precious treasure of all!
ARTICLE : WHY HAPPINESS MATTERS
SMALL JOYS, BIG IMPACT
NOVEMBER 4, 2024
Happiness is more than just a good feeling—it’s like a sprinkle of sunshine that makes life richer. When we feel happy, we’re healthier, more connected, and even a bit more creative.
Studies show that happiness can boost our health, lower stress, and make us kinder to others. And according to an 85-year Harvard study, close relationships are the key to a long, fulfilling life. Happiness, it seems, doesn’t just brighten our days; it can shape our entire lives.
Here’s a little poem to capture why happiness matters:
Why Happiness Matters
Happiness matters, like sunshine’s embrace,
A gentle light in life’s busy race.
It lifts our spirits, softens the night,
Guiding us gently toward warmth and delight.
In laughter shared and friendships strong,
It gives us courage, helps us belong.
A balm for pain, a shield in strife,
Happiness colors the canvas of life.
It’s the sparkle in eyes, the peace in our mind,
A reminder of love in moments we find.
With each small joy, each caring deed,
Happiness grows from every good seed.
So let it flourish, let it spread wide,
A light for each heart, a warmth inside.
For happiness matters in ways we can’t see—
A gift for the world, and a gift to be free.
Let happiness be a sprinkle of joy in your day. Cherish the little things, connect with loved ones, and share kindness wherever you go. Happiness might just be the small magic that makes life a little brighter for all of us. Let’s sprinkle some happiness together! 🎉

SHORT STORY :
LILA AND THE HUMMING STONE
October, 2024
In a cozy little town, a magical shop called "Sprinkle of Happiness" appeared one morning, like it had popped right out of a dream. Inside were tiny postcards, each with a little picture: one had a beach that felt warm to the touch, another a snowflake that felt chilly!
But the most amazing things in the shop were the Humming Stones. They were smooth little stones that hummed gentle songs, especially when it rained.
One day, a girl named Lila wandered in. Lila couldn’t hear the same way others did, but when she held a Humming Stone in her hand, she felt the soft, happy music. It filled her heart like a warm hug. She didn’t need to hear it with her ears—she could feel it right inside her. From that day on, Lila came to the shop every time it rained, letting the stones fill her heart with music only she could feel.

MY MORNING :
BURNED TOAST 😆🍞
NOVEMBER 1, 2024
Today was the big day to launch my blog, and I thought I'd start the morning with a simple breakfast... but the toaster had other plans! One minute I'm watching the toast, the next minute – poof! – extra crispy! 🙈
Let's call it a little "toast drama" to kick off the day. Guess that’s what I get for multitasking on launch day! Here's to new beginnings, even with a hint of burnt toast in the air. 😂
As I sat there laughing at my crispy masterpiece, I thought, “What if I turn this little moment into a story?” So here it is… The Magical Burnt Toast! 🍞✨
SHORT STORY :
The Magical Burnt Toast 🍞✨
Once upon a sunny morning, in a cozy little kitchen, a super-duper happy character named Sunny was busy making breakfast. Today was a BIG day – the grand opening of Sprinkle of Happiness, her tiny, magical shop filled with postcards and happy treasures!
Sunny was so excited that she popped a slice of bread into the toaster and started daydreaming. She imagined people giggling, smiling, and maybe even doing a happy dance whenever they visited her shop!
But… oh no! She forgot about her toast! Just then, with a POP! out jumped the toast, as black as midnight and smelling a little… crispy. But wait! ✨ Tiny sparkles floated around it, like it had been sprinkled with fairy dust! The burnt toast wasn’t just toast—it was MAGICAL TOAST!
Sunny giggled and said, “Well, even burnt toast can be magical!” She decided to keep the crispy toast as her lucky charm and skipped off to open her shop with a BIG smile.
And so, Sprinkle of Happiness began with giggles, sparkles, and one VERY magical, crispy piece of toast. Because sometimes, even a little burnt toast can make the day extra fun! 🍞💫
